  • Trump said he'd be seated much ahead at the Queen's funeral if he were president
  • He mocked Biden's 14th row seating at the service with 'third world' country leaders
  • Trump's claims were immediately shot down by his detractors who clapped back at him

Former President Donald Trump mocked his successor Joe Biden on Monday over the seating arrangement for the latter at the Queen's state funeral that was attended by world leaders and royals from across the globe.

The present leader of one of the most powerful countries in the world was placed 14 rows behind the leaders of Commonwealth countries and nations that still consider the Crown as their head of state.

Biden was in the row on the south transept behind Polish President Andrzej Duda. He sat ahead of Czech Republic's Prime Minister Petr Fiala. First Lady Jill Biden sat next to Swiss President Ignazio Cassis.

A photograph of Biden from the ceremony made it to the Internet, and many made a mockery of his position at the service. The opportunity seemed too good to pass up for Trump who jumped on the bandwagon and took virtual shots at the president.

"This is what's happened to America in just two short years. No respect!" the former president wrote in a Truth Social post. "However, a good time for our President to get to know the leaders of certain Third World countries," he continued.

Trump then indulged in a little self-flattery, adding, "If I were president, they wouldn't have sat me back there -- and our country would be much different than it is right now!" Reposting his original post, he wrote, "In Real Estate, like in Politics and in Life, LOCATION IS EVERYTHING!!!"

Biden supporters, or rather Trump's detractors, immediately banded together to call out the former president for the post.

"BREAKING: Donald Trump mocks Joe Biden's seat location at the Queen's funeral, claims it shows that we get 'no respect' and claims 'they' never would have 'sat' him 'back there' — meanwhile Trump wasn't even invited to the funeral. RT IF YOU THINK THAT TRUMP IS DELUSIONAL!" read a tweet.

"Donald Trump in typical childish petulance makes the Queen's funeral abt himself. And his claim that he would have got a better seat than Joe Biden," wrote another user.

"Donald Trump would've been sitting right on the coffin! Then, he'd say 'Well, It's The Best Seat in the House, right? She'd want me right here.' 👌👌👌" a tweet read in part.

"Thank you Joe Biden for not being TFG (a total embarrassment to Americans & human beings everywhere). Long Live The King," the tweet further read.

The service held for the Queen at Westminster Abbey was graced by 2,000 people, including 500 of the world's presidents, monarchs, and prime ministers. The first six rows were occupied by Britain's royal family and members of the extended Windsor family.

It was reported that the Bidens were allowed to travel to the abbey in their personal armored limousine, "The Beast," for security reasons whereas other important dignitaries were bussed to the funeral on shuttle buses because of traffic restrictions in London.

Arriving via private transport seemed to backfire for the Bidens as they were stuck in standstill traffic and arrived late to the venue. The service had already begun, and they had to wait at the doors to avoid interrupting a procession of George and Victoria Cross-holders heading into the abbey.

President Joe Biden is widely expected to contest the 2024 election, especially if Donald Trump decides to challenge
