Once upon a time Rihanna and Travis Scott dated -- at least, that's what former Complex magazine editor Lawrence Schlossman said.

On the "Throwing Fits" podcast, which Schlossman co-hosts with James Harris, the duo was joined by journalist Jonah Weiner as they discussed celebrities that were less than thrilled by the content that was written about them.

Apparently, the 28-year-old "Sicko Mode" rapper, who would eventually move on to date and have a child with billionaire makeup mogul Kylie Jenner, was not happy that Schlossman exposed his relationship with global pop sensation Rihanna.

"I broke the news about him and Rihanna, which they told me not to do," the former Complex editor explained on Tuesday's episode, according to Us Weekly. "Apparently, what [Complex editor Joe] LaPuma, our boy Joe The Puma, told me was that it hurt Complex’s relationship with Travis. This was in 2015/16 I wrote this. But apparently, for the next couple of years, he would complain about that."

"It’s not because he’s like, 'Don’t tell anyone I’m smashing Rihanna.' It’s because Rihanna’s like, 'Don’t tell anyone that I’m smashing Travis Scott, please,'" Schlossman explained. "[It’s] obviously embarrassing as [expletive]."

Whether or not Rihanna was actually embarrassed by the story remains a mystery, but one thing she's certainly not embarrassed about is that she's made it 15 years in the entertainment industry.

Sunday, May 24 marked the 15-year-anniversary of Rihanna's debut single "Pon de Replay" and prompted the trending hashtag #15YearsOfRihanna. The 32-year-old singer took to her Instagram Story to share her excitement and thank her fans for sticking with her for so long.

"Thank you for all the love on this hashtag today! Man this is trippy," she wrote. "Feels like just yesterday I was shaking in the hallways of Def Jam waiting to audition for Jay [-Z]."

She continued, "'Pon de Replay' is where it all began....15 years later and I'm here because God led me to you, and you guys have held me up, supported me, tolerated me, loved me, kept it too real with me, and we gon always be connected because of that!"

The Fenty Beauty creator added, "I love you Navy, and I cherish you. I'm so grateful to be gifted you as my fans and family."

"Pon De Replay" was released on May 24, 2005, and was the lead single off of Rihanna's debut studio album "Music of the Sun." She has since gone on to release seven more studio albums. Her highly-anticipated ninth album studio album, titled "R9," has yet to receive a public release date.
