Doctor Reveals ‘World’s Most Dangerous Sex Position’ That Causes 50% Of Penis Fractures

A surgeon has warned people about a sex position that he claims is responsible for half of penis fracture cases.

Dr. Karan Raj dubbed "reverse cowgirl" as the "world's most dangerous sex position according to science" in a video posted on social media platform TikTok.

In the U.K.-based surgeon's video, which has been viewed around 3.1 million times, he claimed the position is responsible for 50% of penile fractures as a man's member can slip out and be crushed by his partner's pubic bone if there's any "erratic thrust" during intercourse.

"Overenthusiastic [sex] can lead your [penis] looking like an [eggplant]," Raj said.

While a penis is technically boneless, the doctor noted the male appendage can still get "fractured."

"A penile fracture is actually a tear to the tunica albuginea," Raj said in the video.

"This is actually a rubbery sheath of tissue that allows the penis to enlarge in width and length during an erection," he explained.

Men who tear their tunica albuginea are usually required to undergo surgery to have the tear stitched up, New York Post reported. Those who fail to do so are usually left with erectile dysfunction and a permanent curvature of their penis, according to the outlet.

In contrast to Raj's claim, a study published in 2017 claimed that "doggy style" was the most dangerous sex position as it was believed to have caused 41% of all penile fracture cases.

Several viewers of Raj's video appeared to have been disappointed from learning of reverse cowgirl's alleged dangers.

"This is my favorite position," one TikTok user wrote along with a sad emoji.

"But, but, that's the best position!" another person claimed.

One commenter said he allegedly heard his penis "crack from this position once."

Other users were confused by how a penis fracture via reverse cowgirl could even happen as the position itself was deemed difficult to do.

"I cannot understand how people do it. It hurts so badly and my man's corndog doesn't even bend out to 90 [degrees]," one user commented.

Meanwhile, many took the information lightly and joked about it.

"POV: you are single," a commenter said.

"Thanks doc. I don't have to worry anyway," another one wrote.
