Camilla Parker Bowles is married to Prince Charles, and she is slated to become the future queen or queen Consort.

She will also become queen before Kate Middleton since Prince Charles is the heir to the throne, and Middleton’s husband is second in line to the throne. But does this mean Camilla has more authority over the Duchess of Cambridge and the Duchess of Sussex?

According to Cheatsheet, this isn’t necessarily the case. Camilla’s reputation prevents her from having royal authority over the two Duchesses. Camilla was just named Duchess after she wed Prince Charles because they refused the title of Princess of Wales.

Princess Diana was known as the Princess of Wales, and she was Prince Charles’ ex-wife. While they were still married, Prince Charles had an affair with Camilla, and royal fans disliked her for this for such a long time.

Since her reputation with the royal family and the royal fans is not as good, she cannot have more authority over Middleton and Markle. But it is also important to note that Camilla has a good relationship with her daughters-in-law today.

But years ago, Camilla and Middleton reportedly got into a secret cold war with each other. Before Prince William wed Middleton, Camilla didn’t think that she was suited to be a member of the royal family.

Camilla also spoke with Prince Charles and convinced the future King to have a discussion with Prince William regarding his relationship with Middleton. The conversation between the father and son led Prince William to reconsider his relationship with the Duchess.

Prince William and Middleton split twice during their relationship. The first split happened during their gap year, and the second split took place after Middleton’s 25th birthday.

But in the end, Prince William and Middleton got back together, and they also decided to tie the knot. Camilla was left with no other choice but to respect her stepson’s decision, and she and Middleton finally got along well with each other.
