Prince Harry’s good friend, Nacho Figueras, recently opened up about the Duke of Sussex’s relationship with Meghan Markle.

On Thursday, Prince Harry and Figueras won the Sentebale ISPS Handa Polo Club, and while Prince Harry was busy giving his wife a kiss on the lips, Figueras commented on their marriage.

“She’s lovely, she’s wonderful. I’m very happy for her, for Harry. They’re both lucky to have found each other and have this new chapter of their life,” he told People.

Asked if thinks the royal couple is enjoying their married life, Figueras said, ‘I think so. They seem very, very happy.”

Markle and Figueras seem to have developed a close friendship with each other. After their big win, Markle gave Prince Harry’s pal air kisses before kissing her husband on the lips. Figueras said that the former actress is learning more about Prince Harry’s favorite sport, and she really is getting the hang of it.

“It was great. She said that she enjoyed the game. We watched the game with my wife which is wonderful because she could learn more about the game,” he said.

Figueras also said that he thought Prince Harry played really well.

“Offensive he played well. Defensively he gave a great back shot for me to score the last goal which we really needed. It’s always the same when he starts at the beginning of the summer and his level of the game keeps going up and up. It was great that I played with Harry. We normally play against each other at this kind of event so I am very happy that we are now being able to play together. We had a good time. It was a good day for Sentebale, and we won which never hurts,” he said.

Figueras and Prince Harry’s team won with a score of 5-4, and it was Figueras that made the final goal.
