With more chart-topping hits in the U.S. than any other artist in history, Drake’s reputation precedes him. So much so, that his latest song, “Toosie Slide” is already becoming a viral TikTok challenge and it hasn’t even been released yet.

“Toosie Slide” will be released Thursday night, according to Drake’s Instagram post.

The song is rumored to be named after an Instagram user who goes by “Toosie” and who Drake tagged in the song’s announcement post on Instagram, PopCrave reported.

The 33-year-old rapper made history March 17 when he surpassed the cast of Fox’s 2009 series, “Glee,” to become the artist with the most U.S. chart hits, after earning his 208th spot on Billboard’s Hot 100, The Guardian reported.

It looks like Drake is heading for another viral TikTok challenge, as it appears users are already enjoying the short snippet of the song they do have access to hear.

On Monday, Toosie posted a video of himself and others dancing to the song for his 382,000 followers on Instagram. He used the #ToosieSlide and others have already begun hopping onto the trend on TikTok, dancing to the lines “It go right foot up, left foot slide/Left foot up, right foot slide/Basically I'm saying, either way we 'bout to slide .”

This wouldn’t be the first time one of Drake’s hit songs has spawned a viral dance challenge. In June 2018, his song, “In My Feelings” sparked the “In My Feelings challenge” where people all across the country hopped out of slowly moving vehicles while they danced to choreography set to lines from the song. The dance trend dominated most of the summer season and wound up officially being crowned as Billboard’s No. 1 song of the summer.

More recently, Drake's "Nonstop" from his 2018 “Scorpion” album went viral as the “Flip the Switch Challenge” on TikTok, where users turn off the lights at the lyrics, “I just flipped the switch, flipped, flipped” and then change places and outfits before turning the light back on.

If “Toosie Slide” blows up after its release on Thursday, TikTok users might be treated to millions of videos similar to Toosie’s original.
