ILoveMakonnen wants to settle his problems with Drake, and he sent the Canadian rapper a message via Twitter. This comes after the “Tuesday” singer announced that he was no longer signed to Drizzy’s OVO record label.

“What is all this about @Drake?” wrote ILoveMakonnen in now-deleted tweet captured by XXL. “I have no beef or animosity towards you. What happened just now is beyond me. I hope we can talk about this … All I have is love and respect for everyone. I was there tonight to meet and greet everyone with love. This is so weird.”

ILoveMakonnen also said although he may have joked around in the past and offended Drake, he has no animosity towards him at all. “All this Internet s--- is causing too much rumors and negative s---,” he wrote. “I have joked before, but I have no issues with anyone on this earth.”

In April, the “Trust Me Danny” rapper seemed to take a shot at Drake, right after he announced his departure from OVO. He also seemed to diss his “Views” album. “What’s the n---- album,” said ILoveMakonnen. “What’s that dumb-a-- album with the sky s---?” That video has since been deleted, but the rapper's comments were published by HipHopDX.

The Georgia-raised artist burst on to the scene in 2014 with his Drake-assisted hit “Tuesday,” and the song wasn’t only critically acclaimed, it was nominated for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards.

In April, ILoveMakonnen thanked Drake and OVO for his success but felt leaving the label was the best business move for him. “I cannot thank OVO, 40, Oliver, Future and Mr. Morgan enough for all that they have done from my career,” he wrote in a statement given to Pitchfork.

“No words can express how much I appreciate Drake for being a part of the success of ‘Tuesday.’ I’m sure the haters will have something negative to say, but all in all my choice to be solely on Warner Bros. Records was the right thing for me and for my best interest,” he added.

At this time, Drake hasn't responded to ILoveMakonnen’s recent tweet about wanting to settle things.
