Sharna Burgess and Lindsay Arnold have announced their exits from "Dancing With the Stars" as pro dancers ahead of the new season.

The hit dance competition reality series is set to come back with Season 31 this September, but Burgess and Arnold have decided to not compete in the upcoming edition of the show.

Burgess, 31, announced her departure Wednesday via an Instagram Story, Us Weekly reported.

"After long conversations and lots of thinking and really trying to sit with what was right ... I have made the really hard decision not to do the season this year of 'Dancing With the Stars,'" she said in the video she posted. "There has been a list that was released saying that I would be a pro, and I won't be."

Burgess said she wants to focus on motherhood for the time being after giving birth to her first child with Brian Austin Green, son Zane, in June.

Despite her exit, she assured fans that she will still be part of the show "in some capacity."

Meanwhile, Arnold, 38, announced her departure from the reality series via Instagram on the same day. She posted a photo of her family and accompanied it with a lengthy message about her decision.

"I wanted to let you all know that I have decided not to be a part of 'Dancing With the Stars' this season. This has been one of the hardest decisions to make but ultimately, I have chosen what I feel is best for myself and my family," she explained.

The pro dancer, who has been a part of the show for more than a decade, said she loves doing it "with all of my heart." However, she maintained that it was time for her to prioritize her loved ones.

"I love the show with all of my heart I mean it!! This show has changed my life forever and will always mean the world to me. You all know that family is the most important thing to me and doing what is best for my daughter is always going to be at the top of my list," she added.

Burgess' and Arnold's exits come ahead of the official announcement of the full list of pros and celebrities competing in this season of "DWTS," according to Page Six.

"DWTS" Season 31 premieres Sept. 19 on Disney+.
