"EastEnders" actor Dean Gaffney has courted controversy for breaking lockdown rules to party with strippers.

The 42-year-old actor joined 40 others at a birthday bash in Huddersfield, U.K., that lasted two days.

Huddersfield is more than 300 kms from his home in Essex, and current rules in the UK prevent mass gatherings.

A source told The Sun that a lot of Instagram and glamour models attended the event. They also shared pictures of Gaffney enjoying the festivities and mingling with the crowd.

"There was a lot going on all over the house and a lot of booze and other substances taken," the source said. "The hot tub also saw a lot of action. Dean wants to get his TV career back on track but being associated with things like this can’t help him."

Other famous personalities who attended the event included "Ex On The Beach" star Josh Ritchie and Marty McKenna of "Geordie Shore" fame.

Model Lana Wolf shared pictures from the party on her Instagram page and described it as a "wild weekend."

Gaffney is not the first celebrity to break lockdown rules.

“Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star Kylie Jenner, who had urged her fans to stay home in an Instagram video, broke California’s lockdown orders by going to a friend’s house.

Singer Madonna, too, faced criticism after she reportedly flew from the UK to New York and attended a birthday bash.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady was spotted working out in a public park that was closed for the pandemic.

“The Bachelor” star Amanda Stanton faced backlash in May when she shared a series of Instagram posts showcasing her traveling to Arizona from California to get her hair done.

Defending her actions, Stanton said she is at home since March 13 and had not ventured out even to buy groceries. She also explained that she took extra precautions before going out.

“I hadn’t had my hair done since January and my hairstylist who I’ve been going to for years JUST opened her salon,” she reasons. “I thought I’d rather when she JUST opened than later when more people had been there.”
