  • From Software announced the "Elden Ring" at the E3 2019
  • Since then, fans have not heard anything about the upcoming title
  • Fans are hopeful that the Xbox Game Showcase on July 23 would be the venue for "Elden Ring" to make an appearance

There is a big chance that the highly awaited title from Bandai Namco and From Software, the “Elden Ring,” could make an appearance next week. The game developer announced the game at the E3 2019, but the industry has not heard or seen the game in any gaming event since then. Interestingly, a new report claims that fans are excited that “Elden Ring” could make an appearance a few days from now if the recent statements of the Xbox team and Phil Spencer are to go by.

Gamerant earlier reported that “Elden Ring’ fans are looking forward to Xbox Game Showcase on July 23. The gaming event would center on the announcement of Xbox Series X titles and gameplays from Xbox Game Studios and its partners. Although the Xbox team has not named “Elden Ring” as one of the soon to be announced titles, several fans are reading between the lines.

According to the site, Xbox Boss’ Phil Spencer has mentioned multiple times about the team’s effort in Japan. He also said that Xbox is working very hard to build relationships and mentioned fans’ requests for amazing games from Japan. Aside from these, the site added that Spencer casually mentioned about the Xbox E3 2019 presentation, which has a solid Japanese developer presentation-suggestive of “Elden Ring’s” imminent announcement, the site noted.

Spencer’s statements do not directly mention “Elden Ring,” but it is understandable why fans are reading between the lines. It has been a long time since From Software shared anything related to the much-awaited title. With most physical gaming events cancelled and “Elden Ring” always absent in most digital gaming events, fans are longing to hear news about it.

Bandai Namco has not yet confirmed if “Elden Ring” would be in the Xbox game Showcase this month. The report is purely born out of fans’ desire to hear more about the forthcoming title. In this case, it is wiser to take this information with a good measure of skepticism. “Elden Ring” is scheduled to launch on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
