Emma Watson has reflected on her role in "Harry Potter" and her special bond with her co-stars as she commemorated the 20th anniversary of "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone."

In an Instagram post Tuesday, Watson, who played Hermione Granger in the film series, described "Harry Potter" as "my home, my family, my world."

Watson shared a heartwarming tribute about working on the film series two decades ago. "'Harry Potter' was my home, my family, my world and Hermione (still is) my favorite fictional character of all time," she wrote. "I think a journalist once said it was irritating how many times during an interview I mentioned how lucky I was and started counting… BUT I DAMN WELL KNEW!!! And I still know," she added.

She went on to reflect on what it was like for her and her co-stars, including Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) and Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley), to grow up with their characters. "I am proud not just of what we as group contributed as actors to the franchise but also as the children that became young adults that walked that path. I look at my fellow cast members now and I am just so proud of who everyone has become as people," she wrote.

Watson said she’s proud she and her co-stars were kind to each other that they supported one another and that they held up something meaningful. She also praised the loyal fan base of "Harry Potter," called "Potterheads," saying they have continued to show their support well after the last movie in the franchise.

"The magic of the world wouldn’t exist without you," she continued. "Thank you for fighting to make it such an inclusive and loving place."

Before she signed off, Watson applauded the crew for their hard work on set, saying, "Thank you for all of your hard work too — I know your contributions sometimes get overlooked."

Earlier on Tuesday, HBO Max announced that Watson, Radcliffe, Grint, and other cast members from all "Harry Potter" films will reunite for the first time in a decade for the streaming service’s upcoming special, "Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts."
