Family Health and Fitness Day USA is observed every year on the last Saturday of September with an aim to promote physical activity and wellness among family members.

Not many are aware that food and health patterns can be adopted by family members, knowingly or unknowingly, when they live together. This means that it can at times be hard to break out and indulge in healthier activities when everyone else around is not. Family Health and Fitness Day USA is, therefore, celebrated to remind people to always put family first.

The best way to celebrate this day is by playing a sport with family or attending an event at a local health club.

On this occasion, here are a few quotes that will motivate you to stay fit and lead a healthy lifestyle. (Courtesy: Goalcast and Womansday)
