The second trailer of "Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore" movie wasn't released Thursday, prompting fans who were eagerly waiting to see the trailer to share their mixed reactions.

"The eagerly awaited Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore trailer will not be revealed today," the official handle of the movie tweeted. "More to come very soon, thank you for your patience."

While many fans assumed the reason behind delaying the trailer was the ongoing Russia-Ukraine crisis, other fans were simply upset that they were waiting all day for the trailer to be released.

"To everyone who’s upset about this... they actually made the right choice. It’d be of poor taste to release a movie about war during times like this," one of the fans wrote.

Another fan noted that they are just 50 days away from the movie release and yet the second trailer is not out.

"Literally kept us waiting all day for nothing.Spent the whole day hitting refresh on YouTube only to be told this now. Why’s the trailer not being revealed today!???" a fan questioned. "We’re exactly 50days away from the movies release."

A user noted that not releasing the trailer Thursday was the "correct move" but they should have at least informed the fans about it in advance.

"Thanks for letting us know only after everyone yelled at you for not letting us know," the user wrote before adding, "Don’t get me wrong, not releasing it today is one million percent the correct move. It’s the fact that WB refuses to communicate with fans that’s unfair and other franchises aren’t treated this way, the Batman fans were told their tiktok Q+A was cancelled HOURS ago."

Another fan also pointed out that lack of communication with fans was not appreciated as earlier this week, the official handle promised fans that a new trailer will be dropping Thursday.

However, the official handle didn't mention the reason behind delaying the trailer yet. "Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore" first trailer was dropped on Dec. 13 last year.

"Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore" is slated to release on April 15. The movie revolves around the "Harry Potter" franchise's popular character, Professor Albus Dumbledore.
