As the coronavirus continues to spread, the pandemic has hit the entertainment industry hard. “The Flash” Season 6 episode 16 is delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Earlier, “The Flash” unit manager Brent Crowell shared the shutdown of production “until further notice,” according to Deadline. The cast and crew of the show stopped shooting from March 13 and it was unclear when the production house would resume filming.

Now, The CW is postponing “The Flash” Season 6 episode 16, which is set to air on Tuesday, March 31. Instead, the network will air a repeat telecast of the episode “Grodd Friended Me.”

Meanwhile, in “The Flash” Season 6 episode 15, Cecile and Cisco try to exorcise Eobard from Nash. Elsewhere, Iris, Barry, and Joe meet Black Hole’s new assassin.

The new assassin is Sunshine who can melt steel and bend sunlight. Sunshine arrives when imposter Iris and the latest victim of the mirror, Kamilla went to Mercury Labs to get their hands on a Prismatic Refractor. Frost arrives to take control of things, but she is distracted when Barry disregards her advice and also arrives at the scene.

However, Joe takes custody of the evidence from the failed robbery scene. Meanwhile, Sunshine decides to acquire the refractor as it is being transferred to ARGUS, but Barry and Joe manage to trap her.

Now, in episode 16, Joe’s life is in danger as Black Hole hires Rag Doll to assassinate him.

“Black Hole threatens Joe’s life – After Black Hole hires Rag Doll (guest star Troy James) to kill Joe (Jesse L. Martin), Singh (guest star Patrick Sabongui) suggests he go into Witness Protection but Joe refuses to stop investigating Carver (guest star Eric Nenninger). While investigating Carver with Cisco (Carlos Valdes), Ralph (Hartley Sawyer) runs into Sue (guest star Natalie Dreyfuss). Iris (Candice Patton) becomes suspicious of Eva (guest star Efrat Dor). Alexandra La Roche directed the episode written by Kristen Kim & Thomas Pound.”
