The first trailer of Warner Bros' "The Flash" shows the titular character, played by Ezra Miller, being confronted with an alternate universe, which he accidentally created as he went back in time to save his mom from being killed by his enemies.

The new two-minute trailer, released Sunday, features Miller crashing into a multiverse and seeing another version of his character, Barry Allen. The trailer also shows Allen receiving help from Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck's versions of Batman.

The trailer opens with the titular character walking outside his childhood home. "Tell me something. You can go anywhere. Another universe. So why do you want to stay and fight for this one?" someone asked. Miller simply replied, "Because this is the one where my mom lives. I'm not gonna lose her again."

The Flash then attempts to travel back in time to save his mom from dying. The upcoming Andy Muschietti-directed film shows the superhero receiving advice from Ben Affleck's Bruce Wayne/Batman.

"If you were to go into the past, you have no idea of what the consequences could be," Batman told him and the speedster replied, "Bruce, I could fix things."

The Dark Knight again warned The Flash and said, "You could also destroy everything."

The next scenes show the consequences of Allen's stubbornness

"This can't be happening. I completely broke the universe...'I created a world with no meta-humans and now there's no one to defend us,'" a scared Allen said as Zod (Michael Shannon) and his cohorts invade Earth.

"Want some help?" Keaton's Batman says as he suddenly walks inside the Batcave much to Allen's surprise. "Yeah, I'm Batman."

The trailer also shows Allen and Batman receiving help from Cara/Supergirl (Sasha Calle). She fights invaders who have taken Allen and Batman captive. She is also seen flying alongside Batwing.

The trailer is the first promotional material for "The Flash" following the numerous legal troubles that hounded Miller.

Miller was arrested twice in Hawaii last year for disorderly conduct and harassment and second-degree assault. The charges were later dismissed. Miller was also previously accused of choking a woman and harassing another woman in Berlin.
