“Ford v. Ferrari” has been universally praised, currently holding a 92% on Rotten Tomatoes. There is, however, one person who may not have been too excited to be seeing it: Stella Damon, Matt Damon’s 9-year-old daughter, who fell asleep twice during a screening of her dad’s new movie.

According to USA Today, Matt explained: "It was a little past bed-time. She said to me, 'Dad, I fell asleep twice, but only for 10 seconds.”

Matt had taken the entire family to the premiere, the first time he’d ever done something like that. Since premier’s end up going pretty late, they sped right past Stella’s bedtime. Falling asleep is to be expected.

Regardless, Stella offered her praise for her father’s movie, saying it was really exciting.

Matt stars in “Ford v. Ferrari” as the Carrol Shelby, the world-famous car designer who teamed up with Christian Bale’s engineer Ken Miles to take on an industry giant to do the impossible: build a car that can outperform a Ferrari.

Carroll’s grandson Aaron Shelby traveled to the Chinese Theater for the premiere form his Dallas, Texas home. He agrees that it’s an exciting well-told story that may take quite a few liberties in order or encompass the character that is his grandpa.

“A lot of those scenes are entertaining scenes, for sure, and even if it didn’t happen, I could totally see Carroll do some of that,” Aaron told the Los Angeles Times.

Aaron, Stella, and numerous fans all agree that it’s an exciting and entertaining movie. The film saw the largest box-office win, earning $31 million over the weekend.
