Ford (F) introduced the 2020 Super Duty F-Series pickup truck range, and it doesn’t disappoint in its ability to heavy haul. Thanks to the optional 475-horsepower powertrain, this truck has the highest towing capacity ratings in its class at 37,000 pounds or nearly 19 tons.

When equipped with the Power Stroke engine, toque rating is 1,050 pounds-per-feet – the top in its class – beating out the heavy-duty Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra as well as the Dodge Ram it competes with.

The Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra HD boast 910 pound-per-feet of torque while the Dodge Ram comes up just short of the Ford Super Duty by 1,000 pounds-per-feet, Car and Driver reported. Towing capacity on the Silverado and Sierra HD are 1,500 pounds less than automaker's Super Duty’s highest tow rating and 1,900 more than the Dodge Ram truck, according to the news outlet.

The Ford Super Duty also has top conventional towing capacity at 24,200 pounds and a fifth-wheel towing capacity of 32,500 pounds. The 19-ton towing capacity is with gooseneck hauling.

The 2020 Ford F-Series Super Duty will be available at dealers by the end of the year. It is built at Ford’s Kentucky Truck Plant in Louisville, Kentucky and Ohio Assembly Plant in Avon Lake, Ohio.

Shares of Ford stock were down 0.71 percent as of 3:04 p.m. ET on Friday.
