Former ‘Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta’ Star Althea Heart Arrested After Fight With Benzino: Report

Althea Heart has reportedly spent the past few days in jail after getting into a confrontation with her ex, Benzino. The former “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” star was said to have been arrested in Georgia because she defied a judge order’s banning her from communicating with the music producer.

According to the Jasmine Brand, Althea was arrested after a hearing she had with Benzino. Sources told the outlet that the former VH1 star confronted her baby daddy and things quickly escalated between them. Because Althea was ordered not to communicate with Benzino, she was immediately jailed for civil contempt. The site claims she will remain behind bars for the next few days and was not given the option to post bail.

Althea and Benzino’s relationship issues played out on Season 4 of “Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars” last year. Even though the pair ended the show by staying together and wanting to work things out, they split shortly after Althea gave birth to their son Zino Jr. in November.

Ever since their breakup, the former couple has resorted to bashing each other over social media. In March, Althea went on an Instagram rant accusing her ex of supposedly trying to take their baby away from her. “I take good care of my son … This man wants to take my son from me! I don’t deserve this! Please please,” she wrote. “This is the only way he cares. He loves the fame he loves Instagram he doesn’t truly love me because s--- would be normal, this ain’t normal! I’m fighting til the end.”

Benzino responded by posting a picture of him and baby Zino writing that they were going to be fine. “Please don’t feed into lies and deception, that the DEVILS work, we all about love and God over here,” he posted. In January, they also had a public spat when Althea told her Instagram followers that Benzino wasn’t spending any time with her or their child and was “using the baby.”
