Now that 2019 is in full swing, details have emerged about this year's professional gaming circuit and some of the prizes the best players in the world will be competing for. One that millions of people will have their eyes on will easily be “Fortnite,” and Epic Games has revealed the first details for 2019 “Fortnite” World Cup.

April 13 will see the start of 10 weekly online qualifiers that will run through June 16 to find the best of the best in “Fortnite.” Each week will also come with a $1 million prize to be distributed accordingly.

Once the qualifiers are complete, the top 100 solo and 50 duos players will gather in New York City from July 26-28 for the “Fortnite” World Cup finals. The event will have $30 million in prize money up for grabs, with all qualifying players receiving at least $50,000 and the solo champion leaving with $3 million.

Between the World Cup and smaller tournaments throughout the year, Epic will hand out $100 million in cash prizes by the end of 2019.
