At E3 2013, gameplay footage of the upcoming "Forza Motorsport 5" was put on display Wednesday. Multiple details were revealed about the racer, which is currently in development at Turn 10 Studios. "Forza Motorsport 5" will be a launch title exclusively for the Xbox One when the Xbox One is released this coming holiday season.

Now for some details about "Forza 5." Multiple layers exist on each car in the game. Multiple modeling layers will be used to depict many types of damage on the bodies of the cars found in "Forza Motorsport 5," including scratches, oil, dents and more. "Forza Motorsport 5" isn't built to recreate all of the real-world realities that come with actual car crashes. For example, if you drive a car at full speed at a wall in "Forza Motorsport 5," it won't completely destroy the vehicle as it would in real life.

"Forza Motorsport 5" will run at 1080p resolution and 60 fps. Car customization comes in the form of of standard options like decals, and multiple types of materials range from typical options including carbon fiber, to zanier choices like 24k gold, leather, cobblestone and more. Flava Flav would be proud. Multiple paint jobs will also be avaiable for "Forza Motorsport 5" vehicles.

Weather will not be modeled, nor will there be day-night cycles. Off-road racing is nonexistent, though there will be multiple types of asphalt to drive on.

Two new features coming to "Forza Motorsport 5" are dedicated servers for multiplayer as well as Xbox One "Smart Match," which aims to improve multiplayer matchmaking by putting you among groups of players that play "Forza Motorsport 5" similarly to the way you do. DLC will also be made for "Forza Motorsport 5" after its release.
