The end of the Labor Day weekend has brought the official end of filming for the upcoming second season of Netflix’s “Fuller House.” The show’s cast, including Andrea Barber and Candace Cameron Bure, took to social media to make the announcement.

To celebrate the occasion, the cast held a wrap party that was full of “shenanigans.” Photos from the cast include Bure and Scott Weinger sharing a hug and kiss, as well as Jodie Sweetin wearing a shark costume. Mr. Woodchuck also got in on the fun and can be seen passed out next to a bottle of champagne.

Two familiar characters will be making their return to “Fuller House” this season but they will both be played by new actors. D.J.’s ex-boyfriend, Nelson Burkhard, and her former best friend Kathy Santoni, will be coming to back to San Francisco for the Netflix series. The reason for Kathy’s recasting is unknown, but actor Jason Marsden explained why he wouldn’t return.

“It was my choice not to appear on ‘Fuller House’ and it was a tough one, believe me. A couple months ago, I got an invitation to appear at Dragon Con in Atlanta,” Marsden said. “I made the choice in a matter of convenience and the convenience was, I could drive to Atlanta from Tennessee.”

With filming of the series now finished, hopefully a release date for the 13-episode Season 2 will be revealed soon. According to Bure, fans may see the second season begin in December.
