“Furious 7” star Vin Diesel is not necessarily a patient man. As a result, he and co-star Ludacris are already dropping teaser posters for the eighth installment in the popular action franchise, which confirms one key detail.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Diesel previously let it slip on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" that he thought of the character Mr. Nobody (Kurt Russell) for a larger role in the new trilogy that “Furious 7” kicked off. He also let it slip that the next story involving the character would take the gang to New York City. Now, the teaser poster below seemingly confirms that Dominic Toretto (Diesel) and his remaining band of outlaws will in fact make their way to the Big Apple in 2017.

The image showed up on the Instagram of both Diesel and Ludcaris on May 26, teasing the previously reported release date as well as the new setting. As CinemaBlend notes, it doesn’t necessarily have any of the more iconic buildings in the New York skyline like the Empire State Building, Freedom Tower or Chrysler Building. However, it very distinctly shows the Brooklyn Bridge in the foreground.

Not much else is known about the eighth “Fast and Furious” movie. Diesel took the stage at CinemaCon in Las Vegas last month to confirm the forgone conclusion that a new movie will be made for an April 14, 2017 release. Despite being marred by the tragic loss of the franchise’s principal star, Paul Walker, “Furious 7” was enough of a box office success to merit an expansion of the franchise.

While Diesel’s involvement in the new “Fast and Furious” movies was a given, Ludacris seems like he’s now on board as well. Meanwhile, actor Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, who plays Agent Hobbs in the franchise, told The Nerd Report that he’s going to return for the next one too.

“Of course,” he said. “Can’t go on without Hobbs.”

In addition, while promoting his upcoming movie "Spy," Jason Statham told MTV News that he'd be willing to return for the next movie as the villainous Deckard Shaw.
