There may have been signs that trouble was brewing at the Laundrie home weeks prior to Gabby Petito’s death, as the Florida police were called to Brian Laundrie’s parents’ home dozens of times leading up to her disappearance.

According to records obtained by the New York Post, the North Port police responded to the Laundrie home 46 times since Sept. 10 – the day that Gabby was reported missing by her mother, Nichole Schmidt.

The report goes on to indicate that five calls were made to the police on Sept. 10 and Sept. 11, which were noted as “public service” calls, the New York Post reported. Both calls were marked as “problem settled” without indication as to what the disturbance was about.

In a redacted report obtained by Fox News, one of the calls on Sept. 10 involved Gabby’s father, Joe Petito.

While Joe was not physically at the Laundrie home, he had “expressed concern” over his daughter’s whereabouts – nine days after Brian returned to Florida without Gabby from a cross-country road trip and one day before she was reported missing, Fox News said.

Additional follow-up calls were made by police to the Laundrie home on Sept. 11 at 1 p.m., 4:30 p.m., and an “agency assist” call was made just before 8:30 p.m., the New York Post said.

The report also indicated that more visits from the police to the Laundrie house came on Sept. 12, with routine checks on the property, marked as “problem solved.”

On Sept. 17, the report indicated that Brian’s parents, Chris and Roberta Laundrie, reported their son missing, claiming he went for a hike and disappeared.

Other incidents in the report, according to the New York Post, include property checks or minor disruptions at the Laundrie home with a “suspicious incident” occurring on Sept. 24 and a “disturbance” at home happening on Sept. 27, which may have been a visit by Duane “Dog the Bounty Hunter” Chapman, although it is unclear.

The FBI has been searching the Laundrie home since Sept. 20. Brian, the sole person of interest in Gabby’s death, continues to elude authorities and his whereabouts are unknown.
