  • Production on the adaption is scheduled to commence next year

Gal Gadot was effortlessly stunning in her latest social media post.

The 36-year-old Hollywood actress took to Instagram Wednesday to share a stone-faced selfie. In the snap, Gadot is seen resting her head on top of her hands while leaning on a table.

Even though the Israeli beauty was sporting a serious expression in the post, many of her fans said she looked pretty in it.

“Most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen,” one wrote.

“Stunning. But why do you look so serious?” another commented

“So simple yet so beautiful,” a different user added.

Gadot’s post comes hours after it was revealed that she is in the process of securing the role of the Evil Queen for Disney’s live-action “Snow White and the Seven Dwarves” — a new adaptation of the 1938 classic.

Sources exclusively told Deadline that the “Wonder Woman” star is in final negotiations to play the notorious villain who plotted to kill the titular character after learning that she’s no longer the fairest in the land.

Gadot will be working with Rachel Zegler in the project, as the latter has been tapped to give life to the character that started it all for the studio’s very successful animated features.

The studio took its time in looking for an actress to give justice to Snow White, but it was already set on having Gadot as the Evil Queen from the get-go, according to the same sources.

Marc Webb is directing the project, while Oscar- and Tony-winning duo Benj Pasek and Justin Paul are in charge of the songs that will be featured in the movie. Pasek and Paul are known for their work in “La La Land,” “The Greatest Showman” and “Dear Evan Hansen.“

Insiders said that the main reason why the live-action for the well-loved Disney cartoon that’s based on the Brothers Grimm fairytale took a long time compared to the other animated features was because Disney wanted to make sure that it will get the music right.

Marc Platt is producing the film that will start production in 2022.

Ahead of the live-action flick, Gadot will be next seen in “Red Notice” that is set to premiere on Nov. 5. Aside from Gadot, the movie also stars Dwayne Johnson and Ryan Reynolds, as per The Hollywood Reporter.
