KEY POINTS

  • Gisele Bundchen liked Jay Shetty's post about being in a relationship with someone "inconsistent"
  • The life guru added that love is a daily effort, and some days it may come easier
  • Bundchen was not as active on social media and liked fewer posts from Brady this year than last year

Gisele Bundchen got the netizens' attention with her recent social media activities amid the divorce rumors with her husband, Tom Brady.

The Brazilian model got tongues wagging as she seemed to go public with her marital strife with Tom Brady after she reacted to a post about commitment from Hindu monk Jay Shetty on Tuesday, Page Six reported. "You can't be in a committed relationship with someone who is inconsistent with you. Read that again," read the quote she liked.

"Love is a daily effort. Some days it may come easier than others and that's OK, but what should always stay consistent is the respect and admiration you have for your partner's values and goals 🙏," Shetty, 35, added in the caption.

Bundchen did not just like the post, she also took to the comments section to leave a praying hands emoji. The outlet noted that the move seemed to suggest that Bundchen agreed with the life coach's message about a partner's value.

Several experts have followed Brady and Bundchen's social activities amid reports that they both hired divorce lawyers following rumors that they have been living separately. The supermodel reportedly only liked her husband's post 8.7% of the time from Aug. 22 to Aug. 28, compared to 80% last year. She also only made one post compared to ten last year from Aug. 22 to Oct. 6, Fox News reported.

"With so much interest in Tom and Gisele's relationship, they may be taking a social media break to avoid the risk of sending mixed messages or escalating any conflict between them. It is more than just remaining out of public view. Going quiet on social media is recommended when settlement negotiations are underway, as one wrong post can spoil everything," celebrity divorce attorney Chris Melcher told Fox News Digital.

Another celebrity divorce attorney weighed in on the couple's online activities. Attorney Sherene De Palma said distancing from social media and putting brakes on gushing over one's spouse online is equivalent to "sleeping in the guest bedroom" or "social cold shoulder."

"A couple's sudden absence from social media could indicate they are busier with other more pressing endeavors like trying to save their marriage or to keep their upcoming breakup private for the sake of their family," she added.

An anonymous source told People that Bundchen was "done" with Brady and was ready to divorce him because she believed their marriage could not be repaired anymore. A different source claimed via Entertainment Tonight that she was "tired" of Brady always choosing his career over their family.
