  • A source said the supermodel was frustrated after Brady decided to unretire weeks after his retirement announcement

Gisele Bündchen shared a supportive message for her husband when he played in his first post-retirement NFL game since rejoining the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. She shared her message on Twitter, but she didn't attend the season opener.

Brady and Bündchen's marriage has been rumored to be on the rocks in the past weeks. However, the supermodel seemingly ended the rumors by sharing a message of support for her husband on social media.

"Let's go @TomBrady!" she tweeted on Sept. 11, adding, "Let's go Bucs!"

Her message came after several outlets reported that they were having a marital crisis. Page Six previously reported they had an epic fight that prompted Bündchen to leave their home in Florida. A week ago, she was seen with their children, son Benjamin Rein, 12, and daughter Vivian Lake, 9, at the Tidal Cove Water Park in Aventura, Florida.

In an episode of his SiriusXM podcast "Let's Go! with Tom Brady, Larry Fitzgerald and Jim Gray," the footballer shared the things that bring him peace after his co-host, Gray, joked that "the only time" he could find peace is when he's being chased by "some 320-pound guys" on the field.

"I hope that's not the only place I find it because that's a brutal way to go after a long period of time, to have that. But there is a simplicity to life when you're in football season because there's a rhythm to it," Brady said. "Football and family [have] always been the most important [things] to me, so it's a good time of year."

As for the reported fight between the couple, an unnamed source told People that Bündchen was "frustrated" with Brady's decision to unretire. He announced his retirement on Feb. 1 after playing on the field for 22 years. However, Brady decided to play again six weeks later.

"Going back to Tampa after the retirement put a strain on the personal side of his life," the source said. "Gisele is frustrated and sick of his career coming before their family, who has always supported him."

As for the couple spending time apart, one told the outlet that it "has happened before," adding that "they are trying" to make their marriage work.
