The 58th Annual Grammy Awards were held Monday at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. American hip-hop recording artist LL Cool J hosted the show where artists received one of the most prestigious awards in music.

The big moments of the show were when Taylor Swift won the coveted "Album of the Year" award for "1989," while Mark Ronson's "Uptown Funk," featuring Bruno Mars, bagged the "Record of the Year." Country icon Carrie Underwood joined Sam Hunt to perform on a mashup of Hunt’s hit "Take Your Time" and Underwood’s "Heartbeat."

Lady Gaga stole the show with her performance paying tribute to David Bowie with a medley of the late singer's iconic songs. Among other performances, Kendrick Lamar took the stage after winning the best rap album for "To Pimp a Butterfly." He performed on "Alright" and "The Blacker the Berry" that literally included a roaring fire. The Weeknd made his Grammy debut by performing on "Can’t Feel My Face" and "In the Night."

Demi Lovato, John Legend, Luke Bryan, Meghan Trainor and Tyrese Gibson honored MusiCares Award recipient Lionel Richie for his long career in music by singing a number of his hits, including "Easy," "Hello," and "Brick House."

Meanwhile, several social media users began commenting on the quality of the audio during Adele's performance of "All I Ask."

The British singer took to her Twitter account to respond to what happened during her performance. Adele said that "the piano mics fell on to the piano strings, that's what the guitar sound was. It made it sound out of tune."
