Bruno Mars is all set to perform at the Grammys this Sunday and his singing partner will be rapper Anderson .Paak.

The singer took to Twitter on Tuesday to announce his upcoming performance with Anderson. The duo has recently released an album, titled "Leave the Door Open."

Thes performance will be Anderson and Mars' first live performance together, the Recording Academy confirmed. "See you on the #GRAMMYs stage! @BrunoMars + @AndersonPaak = @silksonic #LetSilkSonicThrive," it tweeted.

The pair has been actively running a campaign on social media to request Grammys to allow their new band, Silk Sonic, to perform at the award show.

The CBS network, which telecasts the award show, has announced the final lineup of artists performing at the show and mentioned Anderson's name at the top. "Catch the final #GRAMMYs lineup. Sunday can't come soon enough. Music fans make some noise," CBS tweeted.

Anderson responded by tweeting, "f----d around and got top billing," while Mars commented, "Aaaannnddd scene."

Mars had earlier written an open letter to the Grammys, saying, "If you can see it in your hearts to allow two out of work musicians to perform at your show, we would really appreciate it. We just released a song and could really use the promotion right now. We have a lot riding on this record (and the Pelicans game next week, but that's another story)."

"We haven't been able to perform for a while and we just want to sing. We'll send in an audition tape and take as many covid tests as we need to," he added. "I promise we won't be extra. We just really want a gig again. I hope you'll consider this request and give us the opportunity to shine."

Mars and Anderson are lined up to perform at Sunday's ceremony, which also includes Megan Thee Stallion, Billie Eilish, Taylor Swift, BTS, and many others. The event was originally scheduled for January but due to a surge in coronavirus cases in Los Angeles, it was postponed to March.
