A new set of details about Rockstar Games’ highly anticipated "GTA" series installment, "GTA 6," surfaced online, revealing information about the game’s reveal date and launch platform.

The latest information about "GTA 6" came from industry insider foxygames_uk. On Twitter, the tipster said fans could expect details from Sony and Rockstar Games about the next "Grand Theft Auto" game, following the release of “GTA 5 Enhanced Edition” in 2021. The insider claimed that the announcement is a big deal.

Additionally, the insider seemed to suggest that the reveal of "GTA 6" next year would come with the announcement of details about Rockstar Games and Sony’s alleged partnership. Rumors have it that the partnership could result in some kind of exclusivity. Interestingly, many fans are not buying the "GTA 6" PS5 exclusivity claim for many reasons.

Screenrant explained that "GTA 5" became a huge success because of its accessibility, pointing out that it was made playable in both previous-generation and current-generation Xbox and PlayStation consoles and on PC. The site added that Rockstar Games could lose a considerable amount of revenue if it becomes a PS5-exclusive title. It is worth noting that until Sony or Rockstar Games announces something about "GTA 6" or its launch platform, the leak will remain a speculation.

The same industry insider previously said on Twitter that Rockstar Games is doing something unbelievable with the ultra-fast Solid State Drive (SSD). He teased that "GTA 6" could feature something illegal in 39 U.S. states. Some fans focused on the words "something illegal," and theorized this could be about the recreational use of cannabis, which is now legal in 11 U.S. states.

Amidst the constant stream of leaks and rumors about "GTA 6," Rockstar Games maintained tight-lipped about it. On the official Twitter account of the studio’s support team, it mentioned that no new information about “GTA 6” is available, seemingly confirming that nothing of significant value could be shared at the moment.

However, this would not stop fans from theorizing and speculating anything they think could be related to “GTA 6.”
