Halloween is right around the corner and one of the most popular costumes this year will undoubtedly be Harley Quinn. The beloved comic book character saw a bump in popularity after Australian-born actress Margot Robbie portrayed her in David Ayer’s “Suicide Squad.”

Like any fashionista, Harley has gone through style changes over the years. Picking one of her outfits from different times could be a good way to differentiate from other Harleys running amok on Halloween night. Check out some ideas below:

1. “Suicide Squad” Harley Quinn: This is probably how most people are going to dress on All Hallows’ Eve. You’ll need the T-shirt that says “Daddy’s Lil’ Monster,” a bat, short shirts and a gold “puddin” choker. Make sure to wear your hair in high pigtails. Don’t fret if you have short or dark hair. Harley Quinn wigs can be bought here. The full costume is available here.

2. “Batman: The Animated Series” Harley Quinn from 1992: This outfit is where the antihero looks most like a court jester. Her colors are black and red, she has a mask, no pigtails and she doesn’t show any skin. Check out the earliest Harley Quinn costume here.

3. “Batman: Arkham Asylum” Harley Quinn from 2009: In this evolution, Harley got sexier. She wears a nurse outfit and adopted a purple and red color scheme. She has a corset and fishnet stocking. The signature pigtails appear here. This is more of a DIY alternative for people who would rather rummage around their house than shell out nearly $100 for a costume.

4. Video Game Harley Quinn: In most video games, Harley Quinn reverts to her original black and red color scheme, but this time around, she shows more skin. Her top is a corset and the end of her hair is dyed. This version of the Harley Quinn Halloween costume can be purchased here.
