The controversies surrounding Harvey Weinstein continue to escalate. Days after he was accused of sexually molesting multiple women, the film producer got into a huge fight with her 22-year-old daughter, Remy.

According to People, their fight escalated into a yelling match that eventually led to police officers being called. “Harvey and Remy had a yelling argument, and Harvey left her house upset. He seemed stressed out and very unhappy,” the source said.

The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to the publication that they responded to a “family disturbance call” at Remy’s home around 10 a.m. on Wednesday. A spokesperson said that it was later on discovered that it was just a “family dispute.” Remy is one of Weinstein’s three children from his previous marriage to ex-wife Eve Chilton.

Meanwhile, the movie mogul made headlines last week after eight women accused him of acting inappropriately towards them. In the New York Times article, Ashley Judd revealed that Weinstein called her to his room, and she obliged thinking that it will be about a project.

However, Weinstein asked the actress if she could massage him or if he could watch her while she takes a shower. The same article noted that Weinstein reached private settlements with the eight women, including Rose McGowan.

After the initial reports swirled online, several other actresses came forward to share their experiences while working with Weinstein. Gwyneth Paltrow, Cara Delevingne and Angelina Jolie all revealed that they were abused by the producer.

Weinstein’s wife, Marchesa designer Georgina Chapman, released a statement amid her husband’s controversy and announced that she would be leaving him. “My heart breaks for all the women who have suffered tremendous pain because of these unforgivable actions. I have chosen to leave my husband. Caring for my young children is my first priority and I ask the media for privacy at this time,” she said.

One day later, Weinstein claimed that he was the one who asked his wife to leave him. While speaking with TMZ, he said, “I sat down with my wife, Georgina, who I love more than anything, and we discussed what was best for our family. We discussed the possibility of a separation and I encouraged her to do what was in her heart. In the end, she made the decision to separate.”
