People spend years trying to perfect their cookie baking skills, greatly focusing on polishing their knowledge of oven use to ensure the desired results, but a Twitter user’s hilarious post showed how overheated laptop chargers can effortlessly replace an oven to bake a cookie.

In what appeared to be a sarcastic dig at the laptop’s charger overheating while the machine is switched on, a Twitter user showed how the heat was enough to turn the dough into a perfect crunchy tea-time treat.

Twitter user @MIA_mea treated internet users to this incredible kitchen hack through a post, and it has since gone viral. The post accompanied two pictures depicting how the cookie was made. The first picture showed a ball of cookie dough placed on a laptop charger, while the second showed the cookie completely baked and ready to eat!

The post, shared on Jan. 14, 2021, has racked up more than 4 million likes and over 40,000 retweets.

The post left several users opening up about having similar experiences of their laptop chargers overheating. Many users came up with their suggestions to make the baking process neater, while many said they will also try out this hack.

"grandma can’t cook em the way the mac charger can," one user said. "When you're computer comes with it's own cookie maker!" quipped another.

“Next time, place a piece of parchment paper under the dough. It'll make clean up super easy and won't leave your charger greasy. Just sayin'!" a user said.

"If you put a blanket over it, it’s a foot warmer or a fire starter Woman shrugging either way! Toasty!!!!" a user joked.

"I literally have a burn scar from falling asleep on my charger," one user said.

One user, who placed a whole egg on their overheated laptop charger, had it burst but the yolk appeared to be cooked enough to eat.
