Aside from dozens of small quest-based bug adjustments and outpost crash fixes, the main features worth noting relate to shopping, controls and loot-drop frequency. It’s now possible to buy several of a single item from merchants by holding down X, and you can also invert the X-axis control stick if necessary. The economic changes weren’t given specifics, and players might notice AI changes too.

Those who want the complete list of individual bug fixes can find it at the link above. The major tenor worth reiterating, however, is that many of the tweaks relate to specific quests and sidequests. In other words, if you’ve ever had issues with incorrect character spawns, interaction errors or loading issues, this patch tries to tighten up as many of those loose ends as possible.

In the close of the thread, a Guerilla Games representative assured fans that update 1.10 is not the last one. The developer’s aim is to “work on further fixes for and enhancements to the game based on your comments.” As a result, we’d expect the single-player experience to become even more refined over time.

It’s also worth pointing out that DLC for Horizon: Zero Dawn is in the works as well. In a press release last week, Guerilla managing director Hermen Hulst revealed his team is “already hard at work on an expansion to the story.” We’d suspect that subsequent updates will drop as that expansion nears completion.

Horizon: Zero Dawn has sold nearly 3 million copies since its release and remains one of the highest-rated Sony exclusives this console generation. Our colleagues at iDigitalTimes gave it four out of five stars.

Horizon: Zero Dawn is available now on PS4.
