House votes against FCC open Internet rules
The House of Representatives voted on Friday to disapprove Internet neutrality rules that were adopted last year by the Federal Communications Commission.
In a matter affecting tech and telecom giants ranging from Verizon Communications Inc to Microsoft Corp, House Republicans pushed through a measure against the FCC's rule by a vote of 240 to 179.
