Brian Condenanza, an Argentine investor and businessman, invests in startups in emerging and promising industries such as digital assets, Fintech, and impact financing. Starting his journey very early, Condenanza has learned to hone the grit and discipline it takes to succeed in Fintech today. This industry is booming in this digital era, where everything is done online and on portable devices.

Fintech is an upcoming industry involving the integration of technology into financial services. The term refers to computer software, mobile applications, and other technologies created to enhance and automate financial services for businesses and consumers. Digital banking, blockchain, and artificial intelligence or machine learning are the growing trends in the Fintech industry. They have experienced significant market growth yearly, with digital banking alone expected to reach a compound annual growth rate of 11.5% by 2026.

Impact investing is an investing strategy aiming at achieving environmental and social benefits in addition to making profits. There is an increasing demand for businesses to give back to society and not exist to make profits. In other words, profit-making should not be the primary goal. By intertwining his financial goals with social responsibility, Condenanza proves that this industry is not all about the bottom line.

"The so-called disruption sometimes comes not from just a user experience change, but from creating new opportunities for consumers. It is also important to remember the real-life impact that Fintech has in our everyday lives. For example, startups such as Klarna, offering payments with post-purchase payments, benefits both consumers and businesses," Condenanza adds.

Fintech and impact investing take many forms, but Condenanza is focused on financing startups in these sectors. He believes in a better future through impact investing and financing those with the same goals or orientation. He also contributes non-financially by writing business publications and articles about impact investing and the future of finance.

"The world of finance is changing very fast. My parents' generation in Argentina lived in a much simpler world, often without bank accounts or credit cards. My generation has access to all that and more: an impressive flow of information on an iPhone. This benefits many because it is much easier to learn to have a better relationship with your finances than ever before," Condenanza adds.

Fintech investing has many benefits, including access to more resources, business process optimizations, better credit pool access, and retention rate. These inspired Condenanza to invest in Fintech and become an impact investor. Although, Condenanza is realistic. "As investors, our way of promoting better business practices is the flow of capital, but we also do not have to be that naive to think that we are changing the world... Everyone wants to earn more, and investors are no different," Condenanza concludes.
