Ivana Trump received more love and support after her split from President Donald Trump.

It was not a secret that Ivana and Trump’s relationship fell apart after he started an affair with Marla Maples. According to Vanity Fair, Ivana was “completely humiliated” with her then-husband’s public association with the model. But following the scandal, she was considered a “tabloid heroine” and her popularity had an inverse proportion to the dislike Donald had received.

“Ivana is now a media goddess on par with Princess Di, Madonna, and Elizabeth Taylor,” Liz Smith reported.

Ivana also underwent cosmetic reconstruction and became unrecognizable to her friends. She negotiated four separate marital-property agreement and sued Donald for half his assets.

“When a man leaves a woman, especially when it was perceived that he has left for a piece of ass—a good one!—there are 50 percent of the population who will love the woman who was left,” the POTUS said trying to be philosophical about his ex-wife’s changes.

Ivana reportedly hired a public-relations man to help her with her new role. One of her advisers described Ivanka’s mother as someone “very calculated” and “very shrewd.” The source said that Ivana was “playing it to the hilt.”

Since Ivana and Donald’s divorce became a legal battle, the POTUS was very careful when he planned to marry Maples. He was wary and wanted to make sure that his second wife would not go after his money.

Donald drawn up an “ironclad” prenup agreement stating that he would only give Maples $1 million if they separated within five years and another $1 million to buy a house. He also offered a $100,000 child support payment for their daughter Tiffany when she turned 21.

In addition, the POTUS was determined to keep Maples silent about their marriage. So he made an extensive confidentiality agreement prohibiting her from publishing any “diary, memoir, letter, story, photograph, interview, article, essay, account or description or depiction of any kind whatsoever, whether fictionalized or not, concerning the details of the parties’ marriage.”

Donald and Ivana’s daughter Ivanka is not close with Maples. In fact, she didn’t attend their nuptials. Ivanka and Maples reportedly have a “tension-filled relationship.”
