Prince William and Kate Middleton may have already responded to the future king’s alleged cheating scandal without having to use any words.

A few months ago, the royal family was rocked with rumors that the Duke of Cambridge had an affair with Middleton’s good friend, Rose Hanbury. Even though the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge never addressed the rumors directly, they did something a few weeks ago to silence the claims.

Earlier this month, President Donald Trump visited London to meet with Queen Elizabeth II and the other members of the British clan. A state banquet was held at the palace and the royals invited Hanbury and her husband, David Rocksavage to the event.

“The fact that the couple received an invitation to the event shows that William and Kate are not concerned about the ongoing rumors. The family was able to indirectly address the rumors without having to make a public statement and have hopefully helped begin to shut these rumors down,” Nella Van, a journalist for Cheatsheet said.

According to the publication, if Prince William is guilty about his alleged affair with Hanbury, he wouldn’t have invited the couple to the state banquet. But despite their attendance, rumors about Prince William and Hanbury’s fling didn’t die down.

After all, Hanbury sat at a different table away from Rocksavage, and the couple wasn’t photographed together the entire night. To make things worse, eagle-eyed royal watchers also noticed that Hanbury wasn’t wearing her wedding ring when she attended the state banquet. This has led royal fans to speculate that she is no longer with her husband.

In related news, Daily Mail claimed that there could be a different angle to Prince William’s alleged cheating scandal. It has been said that he might not have anything to do with Hanbury and Rocksavage’s fall out. Rather, the latter has ties with rich men who have been convicted of crimes and Hanbury may no longer be having it.
