Recent rumors claimed Prince William cheated on Kate Middleton with Rose Hanbury, but there is no proof backing up these speculations.

Even though the rumors have not been confirmed by the palace or by the couple, royal fans are concerned about the Duchess of Cambridge’s welfare. On the online forum site Quora, some of them are wondering whether or not the mom of three would end up like Princess Diana since the latter’s ex-husband, Prince Charles, was not faithful to him either.

Laura Warwick Martin, a former fundraiser, said that Middleton’s fate cannot be compared with Princess Diana because the latter’s husband admitted to not being faithful to his wife. While the Prince and Princess of Wales were still married, it was also evident that they didn’t really love each other.

However, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are madly in love. Additionally, Kensington Palace has already challenged whoever is spreading the rumors to come up with proof of Prince William’s alleged cheating but no one has come forward.

“The only thing that is common knowledge is that too many people read too many gossip rags that do not tell anything remotely like the truth. Sadly, these gullible people then believe these lies and come to sites such as this to try to spread these lies…” she said.

Marilyn Robinson, a retired workshop director from California, said that suggesting that Prince William had an extramarital affair is devious enough in itself. So to suggest that Middleton could have the same fate as the late Princess of Diana seems unbelievable.

“Do you have proof? That would seem odd as nobody else seems to be able to prove anything about Prince William acting as his father did with Princess Diana. Odd though how nasty innuendos get to be okay,” she wrote.

Prince William and Middleton just celebrated their 8th wedding anniversary last month. The couple has been blessed with three healthy and adorable children throughout their union, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
