Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick appeared as guests on the one-night-only live stream of “The Rosie O’Donnell Show,” which was a fundraiser for The Actors Fund. The organization “provides a safety net for performing arts and entertainment professionals over their lifespan,” and is offering support amid the coronavirus crisis. Since the worsening of the pandemic, Broadway has canceled all of its shows until April 13.

Parker and Broderick, Broadway stars themselves, have also been affected professionally by COVID-19, with their production of Neil Simon's "Plaza Suite" on hold. As a result, the couple has been spending quite a bit of time at home, People reports.

“We haven’t been bingeing as much I guess as we hear tell,” Parker said when asked what they’ve been binge-watching. “We’ve been playing a lot of games, a lot of cooking, a lot of laundry — bingeing on laundry.”

However, Broderick did reveal that he’s a fan of the Netflix series “The Crown.”

“I’ve watched a bunch of Crowns — wonderful,” he said.

Parker shared a post promoting the fundraiser on her Instagram Sunday.

She wrote: "Matthew and I are very happy to be included. Anything to help @theactorsfund and our colleagues, friends on stage and off who lIke so many can use support. @theactorsfund has been taking care of, looking after and offering a hand and community for so many, for so long. Whatever is needed to return the generosity. Today an urgency I might never have imagined. See you soon!!! X, SJ"

During the live stream, the couple also gave an update on their three children, James Wilkie, 17, and 10-year-old twins Marion and Tabitha.

“Everybody is really well. We feel very fortunate. James Wilkie is well, the girls are well,” Parker said. “They’re healthy and mentally healthy and trying to wrap their heads around this particular current state we’re all living in... But in the meantime, while we wait for better days, we will do our best to take care of our colleagues and everybody who is feeling so hurt by all of this."

However, Broderick’s sister, Janet Broderick, 64, has tested positive for COVID-19.

“My entire family is grateful for the concern about, and the well wishes for, my sister Janet. I’m happy to say she is feeling much better and is on the road to a full recovery,” the “Ferris Bueller” actor previously told People. “We are all very appreciative for the wonderful care she received from the amazing doctors and nurses at Cedars-Sinai.”

Other celebrities who appeared on "The Rosie O'Donnell Show" included Jordin Sparks, Rob McClure, Billy Porter and more. The special is still available to view on the Broadway.com YouTube channel.
