Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt’s relationship was one of the most sought-after stories in Hollywood. Unfortunately, the couple’s marriage ended in divorce.

While they were still together, Aniston and Pitt engaged in a loved-up display in front of their fans and the photographers. But a source previously said that this was all just for show.

Years ago, the former couple joined Courtney Cox and David Arquette for a vacation in the Caribbean during the New Year. An onlooker told People that Aniston and Pitt didn’t touch each other during their meal.

But the minute they saw photographers trying to take snaps of them, Aniston and Pitt suddenly put their arms around each other, and they both smiled widely for the cameras.

“It was the opposite of the couple I’d seen inside,” the source said.

Days later, Aniston and Pitt released a joint statement announcing their divorce. By the looks of it, the couple simply didn’t want the media to know about their plans to go their separate ways before releasing their statement.

Meanwhile, just four months later, photos of Pitt with Angelina Jolie at the beach made frontage news. At that time, the “Ad Astra” star was also photographed canoodling with Jolie’s adopted son, Maddox.

But even though Pitt and Jolie were already photographed vacationing together, the former couple still denied their relationship. In fact, Jolie claimed that she and Pitt only decided to take their friendship to the next level after their filming for “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” wrapped up.

In related news, Aniston and Pitt will reunite with each other at the Golden Globes. According to Daily Mail, the former couple will be seated just a few feet away from each other.

“They will sit on separate tables, but those tables are next to one another and the couple will be very close. It is the clearest sign yet that they are back friends after their split,” a source said.
