The worldwide premiere and press tour of the movie The Hunger Games, starring 21-year-old Jennifer Lawrence and directed by Gary Ross, kicked off in Hollywood on March 12 and saw Lawrence in a series of high-end fashion creations by some of the biggest names in the industry.

From the elaborate Prabal Gurung golden gown in the Los Angeles premiere to the shimmering Ralph Lauren design in London, it was all about couture and high-end fashion for the American actress during the last few weeks.

Wall Street Journal reported that on March 21 in New York, Lawrence appeared in a Pre-Fall 2012 green Calvin Klein dress with a plunging neckline and a pleated A-line skirt at a Barnes & Noble book signing, followed by a screening hosted by the Cinema Society and Calvin Klein.

However, Lawrence's association with glamour and high fashion is not newfound as the stunning blonde with the flawless skin often stands out at many red carpet events. Whether it is the glamorous diva look or the girl next door, Lawrence is known to adopt any look or trend to perfecton.

Releasing worldwide on March 23, 2012, The Hunger Games is a fight-to-death trilogy that has been written by American novelist Suzanne Collins. In the movie, Lawrence plays a 16-year-old protagonist Katniss Everdeen who volunteers to take her younger sister's place in the fight to death match on live television.
