John Cena’s engagement to Nikki Bella may be over, but fans couldn’t help but wonder whether the WWE star’s latest tweet was about his ex-fiancée’s pregnancy announcement.

On Wednesday, Nikki revealed she was pregnant with her first child, less than a month after revealing her engagement to Artem Chigvintsev. However, after the star opened up about her exciting pregnancy, her ex shared a tweet that some believed to be a dig at the “Total Bellas” star.

On Thursday, Cena took to Twitter to share a message about staying true to yourself. “There will always be those who continuously test your resolve. Stay true to you. Love who you and believe in your values. That way, however they try to manipulate any situation, you will never sink to their level,” the post read.

Fans may recall Cena and Bella previously ended the engagement when the “Fast & Furious 9” actor revealed he wasn’t interested in having kids. Although the two tried to work through his hesitation and other issues, they eventually ended their relationship for good.

The stars have both moved on since their break up. While Cena has been dating Shay Shariatzadeh, Bella is starting a family with Chigvintsev.

On Wednesday, Bella told People she was surprised by the pregnancy and decided to take a test after her twin sister Brie revealed she was pregnant. “I was in yoga, and I kept getting this feeling that you need to take a pregnancy test, but I wasn’t even late yet,” Bella told the publication.

“And so I’m like, ‘Why do I keep having this feeling? Am I getting twin vibes from her? Because she just told me she’s pregnant?’ I didn’t tell Artem at this point,” she continued.

When Bella finally took the test, she admitted she was shocked by the results. “I just [wanted] to do this by myself. When I came back in, and it said pregnant, I had to sit down for a second,” Bella revealed.

Although it took Bella and Chigvintsev “a good week” to “digest” the baby news, the couple is looking forward to welcoming their bundle of joy.

Fans will be able to follow Bella on her pregnancy journey when “Total Bellas” returns to E! in the spring.
