Jordana Brewster spoke her mind about the delay of "Fast and Furious 9."

The release date of the next installment of the hit franchise "Fast and Furious" has been pushed back. Initially, it was scheduled for release in April 2019 but was moved to April 2020. However, a spinoff by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Jason Statham is coming on July 26, 2019.

According to "Fast and Furious" star Brewster, the delay of its ninth installment is a "bummer," but she understands. "It is a bummer because the longer you have to wait...I mean, it's a bummer," she told E! News. "But on the other hand that gives everyone a little more time to ruminate and make it better, so that's good."

The publication noted that Brewster was not included in "The Fate of The Furious" that was released in 2017. But the actress has expressed her interest to come back for "Fast and Furious 9." As for the spinoff, the "Lethal Weapon" star has no issues with it.

"I think there's enough love...our fanbase is so big and our fans are so loyal that I think there's enough love out there for any iteration of the franchise," Brewster said.

Meanwhile, Vin Diesel and Johnson were rumored to be having a feud while filming "Fast and Furious 8." Their beef allegedly started when the "XXX" star showed up late on set. The "Baywatch" actor was upset and ranted on social media by praising his female co-stars and denouncing his male co-stars. "My female co-stars are always amazing and I love 'em. My male co-stars however are a different story," Johnson wrote on Instagram.

Just recently, the "Guardians of the Galaxy" actor debunked their alleged rift by sharing a photo of him and The Rock on Instagram. "Brotherhood... and all it's complexities. This scene was filmed in Puerto Rico, I can remember it like it was yesterday. Such a beautiful island, the people were so warm and welcoming. I turned 43 that summer... and my son Vincent was born," Diesel wrote in the caption.

According to Diesel, he asked his fans who they wanted to see him work with and one woman dropped Johnson's name. The "xXx: Return of Xander Cage" star listened to her and invited Johnson to join in the "Fast and Furious" franchise as Luke Hobbs.

Johnson did not make any statement about Diesel's post but shared an update about his "Skyscraper" movie with hashtag "teamwork." He also confirmed in another post the Hobbs spinoff.
