Jennifer Lawrence’s “Hunger Games” costar Josh Hutcherson defended the star after her nude photos were leaked in a mass-hacking scandal. JLaw was just one of dozens of female celebrities whose intimate pictures were posted to 4chan and Reddit's forum "The Fappening."

"I just think all that stuff is so ridiculous," Hutcherson, 21, told ET Canada. "We're people, too man, we just want to live. We want to be normal people, it's not fair."

Male celebrities evaded the infamous “Fappening,” but Hutcherson can relate to what Lawrence, 24, is going through. Hutcherson found himself at the center of his own NSFW scandal when his graphic photos went viral in 2013, Us Weekly wrote.

"Like Jen and I always say -- people say, 'Well you chose to be an actor, you are going to have to deal with this kind of thing.' Well, no. I started when I was 9 years old. She started when she was like 12. We didn't choose to have public scandal," he told ET Canada. "So because this is what I am good at and this is my career means I also have to suffer on this other side?"

Lawrence has remained quiet publicly since the nude photo hack. Some celebrities denied the images were authentic and others, like Kaley Cuoco, poked fun at the leak. McKayla Maroney, the 2012 London Olympics gold medalist, revealed she was underage when her apparent nude photos were taken and had them removed from Reddit and adult entertainment sites.

"I think everyone has their own way of getting through it. It's something you obviously don't want to happen to you and it's really unfortunate that it happens," Hutcherson said. "I hate the way the world sort of views those sorts of issues."
