Exciting news for “Thor: Ragnarok” fans, director Taika Waititi has just added another interesting actor to make a cameo in the upcoming Marvel film.

Sam Neill, who is best known for playing Dr. Alan Grant in “Jurassic Park,” told Entertainment Weekly that he filmed a secret role for the third “Thor” installment. But as to what that role is, and what he did in the film, Neill refused to divulge any more info.

“I’m not really allowed to say this and I can’t tell you what it is… I did a couple of days on ‘Thor’ just before I came over here,” Neill said, noting how he “had to sign all sorts of things. So if I say anything else, Marvel’s secret agents — and they are lethal — will come and get me and probably my children, as well.”

Neill isn’t the only “Jurassic Park” alum who will be a part of “Thor: Ragnarok,” since Jeff Goldblum, who is known for playing Dr. Ian Malcolm in the dinosaur film, has already been cast to play The Grandmaster.

Aside from Neill’s mysterious character and Goldblum’s Grandmaster, there will be several other new players joining the “Thor” franchise, according to Geek. Cate Blanchett is going to play Marvel’s first female villain, Hela, while “Star Trek” star Karl Urban will be playing Skurge the Executioner. Tessa Thompson will be playing the new heroine Valkyrie, who was earlier rumored to be Thor’s new love interest.

But according to some spoilers obtained by Screen Geek, Valkyrie will not be the film's leading lady. Jane Foster is not mentioned at all in the script, but Thor seems to have too many things on his mind to think of love at the moment.

Chris Hemsworth will be reprising his role as Thor, and Tom Hiddleston will once again be his meddlesome half-brother Loki.

“Thor: Ragnarok” will be released on Nov. 3, 2017.
