Breaking records is nothing new for Justin Bieber, and he has done it yet again. He has become the most-streamed artist of all time.

Bieber released his first song “Baby” in 2010 and became an overnight sensation gaining a huge fan following. Since then, there has been no stopping for him, over the years he has had several super hits and broke numerous records.

Once again Bieber has added yet another feather in his hat as he has been revealed to have broken the all-time Spotify monthly listener record, which has earned 83.3 million monthly listeners.

The success of his new album “Justice” which was released in March and his single with The Kid LAROI, “Stay” has helped bump up his numbers on the platform as it has remained on Billboard’s top spot for six consecutive weeks.

Chart Data announced the news on Twitter.

“@justinbieber has broken the all-time record for most monthly listeners among all artists in Spotify history (83.3 million). He is the #1 artist on the platform.”

There is no doubt that this is not an easy feat to achieve and the 27-year-old singer has surpassed his fellow Canadian singer, The Weeknd, who has 74.53 million monthly listeners to reach this milestone.

Besides The Weeknd, Bieber has also surpassed Ed Sheeran who has reached 72.41 monthly listeners, Dua Lipa at 65.5 million monthly listeners and Doja Cat with 60.74 million. It remains unclear who Bieber beat out on the all-time list on his road to 83.3 million listeners.

Last year, Billie Eilish was named Spotify’s "Most Streamed Female Artist of 2020." The 19-year-old singer beat out biggies like Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande for the top spot with 49,736,031 monthly listeners. Surprisingly Eilish managed to earn the title without even releasing an album in 2020.

Eilish has always looked up to Bieber, who can be now considered a veteran in the music industry. Bieber has even helped Eilish find her way into the world of fame.

Earlier this year, Eilish spoke with “The Morning Mash Up” about her new album, saying that Bieber lent her some amazing advice and went on to call him the “sweetest baby ever.”

"I love him," she continued. "He's a good friend of mine. He has been so helpful for me, in terms of just, like, dealing with fame."

Eilish added, "He'll call me sometimes and just say stuff that makes me just feel heard and like there's somebody else that goes through the same stuff. So it's really nice to have him.”
