The marriage between Justin Bieber and wife Hailey Baldwin may be on the rocks as the couple struggles through the Canadian singer’s mental health issues. Bieber has been open about his battle with depression, but the stress of the situation may be taking a toll on his marriage to Baldwin, who has been there to support her husband through his treatment.

Bieber, who has been getting treatment for his mental health issues from Hillsong Church pastor Carl Lentz in New York, may be reconsidering his marriage to Baldwin, a source for Radar Online said he confided in a friend.

The confession took place in February when Bieber was participating in a boxing session in New Jersey, where he seemed distracted and distressed during the workout, the news outlet reported.

“Justin’s mind was really messed up,” the source said. “His mind was just not into it. He was really depressed and questioning his marriage.”

Bieber married Baldwin in September in a secret courthouse wedding. The two have discussed having a larger wedding after the fact and reportedly have decided on a date in September, which would center around their one-year anniversary date.

Bieber has been fighting depression and has bonded over his mental health issues with ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez, who recently sought treatment for her own set of mental health issues. Bieber revealed the challenges he is facing with depression with an Instagram post in March, where he asked his fans for their support and prayers.

The post read, “Just feeling super disconnected and weird…I always bounce back so I’m not worried just wanted to reach out and ask for you guys to pray for me. God is faithful and ur prayers really work thanks .. the most human season I’ve ever been in facing my stuff head on.”
