Kaley Cuoco has set the record straight about her rumored feud with Margot Robbie over their Harley Quinn portrayals.

In July, rift speculations between the two stunners began circulating, allegedly stemming from their portrayals of character Harley Quinn. Cuoco played the part for the HBO Max TV show, while Robbie portrayed the character in the movies “Suicide Squad” and spin-off “Birds of Prey,” which hit theaters early this year.

“They each balked. Not only is there professional jealousy, but they also just don’t like each other,” a source, referring to the alleged refusal of the stars to grace the stage together for an event, told an outlet.

However, Cuoco, who is now starring in HBO Max's miniseries "The Flight Attendant," told Interview Magazine that there was really no tension between her and Robbie. In fact, Cuoco, who of course became famous for her role as Penny in the acclaimed TV hit "Big Bang Theory," gushed over Robbie.

“When Harley became kind of a big deal and then when 'Birds of Prey' came out, there were all these stories that me and Margot Robbie were feuding. But I've never even met her. I love her," Cuoco said.

In the "Interview" interview, Cuoco went on to address a story that ran in yet another publication that claimed she and Robbie didn’t want to work together at a Comic-Con, explaining that neither of them actually attended that event. Apart from debunking rumors about their relationship, the “Flight Attendant” star even called Robbie “cute.”

Earlier this year, Cuoco opened up to Entertainment Weekly about portraying Harley Quinn after having been in “The Big Bang Theory,” and also praised Robbie's role as a villianess in films.

"There have been so many Harley Quinns, and obviously with 'Suicide Squad' Margo was playing her so incredibly well and so specific, that I didn't want her to sound like anybody else," Cuoco said.

Cuoco also talked about the impact of her character, explaining that Harley Quinn “actually represents more of the women out there than we think.”

“I’ve loved the swearing. I’ve loved the screaming. I’ve loved the aggressiveness. It’s totally insane and totally inappropriate — that’s why I love it,” Cuoco said.

Meanwhile, Robbie will reprise her role in the sequel “The Suicide Squad," which will hit the big screen in August 2021. And Cuoco’s “Harley Quinn” was recently renewed for a third season.
