Kanye West fans still don't know when exactly his 10th studio album, "Donda," will come out. But it appears the rapper has been benefiting from this uncertainty, considering he has already earned millions just by teasing his upcoming music at listening parties.

The 44-year-old rapper made $1.5 to $2.7 million from each of his two Atlanta events and $7 million from in-person merchandise sales from the shows, according to Billboard.

The first event alone, which was held at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium on July 22, was attended by 42,000 fans, each of whom paid a ticket priced between $25 and $100.

Apple Music live-streamed the first listening party for free, thinking the rapper would finally launch the album the following day. It had a total of 5.4 million viewers, which was a record-breaking number for the streaming service, the New York Post reported.

However, the launch didn't happen as expected. Instead of releasing his new music, Kanye had another "Donda" event two weeks later.

Kanye is currently preparing for his third listening party, which will take place at Chicago's Soldier Field Thursday evening.

Fans won't be required to present any vaccination proof or a negative COVID-19 test result upon entrance. In fact, fans will get a chance to get jabbed at the venue as 1,500 doses will be offered to the attendees.

Two types of vaccine will be available throughout the show — the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine and the single-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine. Chicago Department of Health officials will be at the stadium to make arrangements for the second shot of those who will get the Pfizer vaccine.

Moreover, to ensure proper distancing, the stadium will only allow 38,000 attendees although it can hold a crowd of 63,000.

Kanye created the "Donda" album to honor his late mother, Donda West and the house where she raised him. The house was sold for $121,000 in 2003 but the rapper purchased it back after 16 years.

Ahead of his third "Donda" event, the rapper is reportedly building a replica of the said house in the middle of Soldier Field.

On the personal front, Kanye recently filed court documents in California to shorten his name to "Ye."
