Kate Middleton is being rumored to have a fourth baby soon, but this may not necessarily be the case.

Amanda Prahl, a journalist for Pop Sugar, noted the fact that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been very private when it comes to their plans of expanding their family. They never discussed their pregnancy plans and just surprised fans with the announcement that Middleton was expecting.

Middleton and Prince William already have three adorable children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, and having a fourth one may be a little bit too far-fetched.

The mom of three suffered from hyperemesis gravidarium or extreme morning sickness during all three of her pregnancies. This means that there is a huge chance that she will go through the same condition during her fourth pregnancy.

Middleton and Prince William already have a fairly typical family size when compared to the other members of the royal family. Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip have four children, Prince Charles, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew, and Prince Edward.

However, Her Majesty and the Duke of Edinburgh’s four children only have two kids of their own. Prince Charles has Prince William and Prince Harry, Princess Anne has Zara Tindall and Peter Phillips, Prince Andrew has Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, and Prince Edward has Lady Louise Windsor and James, Viscount Severn.

And the Queen’s grandchildren, Zara Tindall, and Peter Phillips also have two children of their own. It is only Prince William that currently has three kids and having a fourth one may be a bit challenging for them.

On the other hand, there is also a possibility for Middleton to get pregnant with a fourth baby but not anytime soon. This year, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will welcome their first child and all eyes are on them.

Royals” podcast host Angela Mollard said that Middleton may get pregnant next year because Middleton desperately wants a big family despite only have two siblings of her own.

“She’s a devoted mom, it’s her greatest and most fulfilling role in life She just loves children,” Mollard said.
